The announcement about missionaries blew my mind. I was excited, confused and happy. I have a lot of guy friends about to turn 18 or who are already 18. I wonder what a surprise they got when they heard the news! When I heard girls could go at age 19, I gasped a very excited gasp and my dad happily laughed at me. Before the announcement, I would tell myself that if I didn't get married by the time I was 21, I would go on a mission. But now I can go on a mission and get married and be a young mother. Oh I'm terribly excited!
My friends have all been asking me if I do go on one (I'm pretty sure I will), what country would I would want to go. But I don't really mind. I'm up for an adventure anywhere. I'll go wherever. :)
People also have been asking me what my favorite talk is. Honestly, I don't have one. They were all so good! But my top three are probably Sister Dibb, Elder Holland and President Monson's closing talk. After conference, I made this in honor of Sister Dibb's talk:
I really enjoyed conference and can't wait till April until we all meet again. I love the spiritual high I get and hearing the apostles talk. :) April, come fast!
